" My husband and I got married on Halloween 10/31/09 and we really wanted a unique ceremony. We didn't want the traditional "dearly beloved we are gathered here today..." snore of a ceremony. Our officiant was Sharon from Alafia Ceremonies and she was able to provide the most amazing, fun and interactive ceremony for us. She did it with such ease and professionalism. We were really impressed with all of her amazing ideas. It's was like she had known us for years. She was so fun to work with as well. We couldn't have made a better choice. I can't tell you how many compliments we had on the ceremony. My favorite idea that Sharon gave us was having the center unity candle in a pumpkin (which we carved a bride and groom dancing into). She was even willing to dress up as a wizard. I highly recommend Alafia Ceremonies to all brides (traditional and unique). I can assure you that you will have lasting memories of the ceremony and it's a great start to the perfect day. Thank you so much Sharon. We will never forget this!"

Dear Sharon and Joel,

I just wanted to thank you for a beautiful ceremony.  It was perfect.  Everyone thought so.  I couldn't have asked for more.  The sand ceremony was beautiful and all the parts of the Jewish service were outstanding. Having Brenda put her foot on top of Ryan's to break the glass was a very special touch.

Thank you again for making their wedding so special.  If Larry and I decide to have a ceremony we will definitely call you.

Gina and I are doing wonderfully!!!  Our wedding ceremony, conducted by Mr. O'Shaughnessy, was everything we had hoped it would be.  I was put in touch with Mr. O'Shaughnessy by an event planning service in the Tampa area, as Gina and I wished to have a very small, very private ceremony.  We decided on having the ceremony at the University of South Florida Botanical Gardens and made arrangements with the coordinator there for the time and date and best place on the grounds to conduct the ceremony.  The day before our wedding, Mr. O'Shaughnessy met with Gina and myself to go over the small details for the next day.  Our meeting with Mr. O'Shaughnessy went very well and he talked to us about our pertinent personal information and was very accommodating to our plans.  Gina and I went to the proper office to apply for the marriage license itself and the rest of the paperwork was handled completely by Mr. O'Shaughnessy.  We received our marriage license in the mail just as he said we would.  He made the ceremony very special by putting us at ease with the professional manner in which he conducted himself.  He also offered other professional services and gave us his card and contact information in the event we should be in the area again, as we now live in Texas.  Things couldn't have gone better for our wedding day, which is a moment in time that Gina and I often look back upon, and forever will do so, as a "warm and fuzzy" time that helped begin in our relationship as husband and wife.  Michael O'Shaughnessy was a big part of making that day special for us and we both encourage other couples to trust this most special of days to his care.

Sharon was such an asset to our wedding. When we first met we knew we wanted Sharon to marry us. She was just as excited at we were, we was easy to talk to and open to different ideas about the ceremony. After committing to Sharon as our officiant she still amazed us. We gave her different pieces from different ceremonies that we wanted liked. She worked with what we gave her and produced a unique and amazing ceremony. The day before the wedding she called us to make sure that our nerves were okay and that we would remember everything we needed to bring. This was such a help, it left one more thing on my never ending list to make sure was set. The day of the wedding she arrived early and again made sure our nerves were calm and prepared us for the soon approaching ceremony. The ceremony was everything we could have asked for. Our guest were very touched by all that she had said. It was perfect."
