Sand Ceremony Script

(Bride) & (Groom) you have proclaimed your love to each other through your wedding vows and exchange of rings. Your lives and your hearts have become one. As a symbol of this joining, I ask you to pick up your individual vases which represent your two separate lives and join the sand into your heart shaped vase, symbolizing the joining of your hearts in marriage. Please pour your sand and repeat after me: Just as the grains of sand are joined together I join my heart to yours.

Please seal the vase and place it in a special location in your home. This will always be a quiet reminder of the love you shared here on your wedding day. Remembering, you have sealed your love, and your hearts, as one in marriage here today.
